About
FROST is a nonprofit organization that leads environmental educational programming through schools in Berkshire County and upstate New York.
We lead fun, hands-on initiatives that focus on each student’s ability to have a positive impact on our environment. FROST sessions are led by teacher and founder Sue Gundrum, and can be scheduled during or after school.

Mission Statement
The goal of FROST (ECO) is to educate and inform the next generation as stewards of our planets. Through hands-on activities with students, we aim to instill a deep appreciation for nature, sustainable practices, and conservation, equipping young minds with the knowledge and passion to create a more sustainable future.
Diversity, Equity & Inclusion
At FROST (ECO) we are dedicated to fostering a diverse, equitable, and inclusive educational experience where every student, volunteer, faculty member, and staff member feels valued, respected, and empowered. We believe that diversity in all its forms, including race, ethnicity, gender, socioeconomic background, sexual orientation, and all abilities will serve to enrich our community and enhance the overall learning experience. By celebrating the unique backgrounds, perspectives, and contributions of each individual, we can achieve the goals of FROST (ECO) while simultaneously being compassionate, globally minded citizens who can thrive in an increasingly diverse and interconnected world.
